My elevator pitch :3

Hello! Check my elevator pitch I've made for GNML Session #6 :)

Looking for a birthday gift idea? Here's one!

A couple days ago I found an amazing article through my Google Alerts. It tells us how instead of asking for a Playstation 4 or a new CD of her favorite singer, one 11-year-old Madison Sexton asked for donations for one of the animal shelters. She collected more than 200 pounds of dog and cat food, collars, blankets, toys etc. This story is an inspiration to me and should be for all the kids over there to think not only about yourself, but also about our best friends - animals. You can ead the whole article here and also find a contact information of Madison.

Here's another great article I found through my Google Alerts. This article tells us about a real story, a person that got her dog from pet shelter. It explains how much his new owner helped him to gain weight and be a normal dog again. This dog was part of one pet project: fundraising for a new pet shelter. This article warms my heart as I hope someday we will read more and more stories like this.

What a great article!

Here's a wonderful article about main issues that we have with animal homelessness that I found through my Google Alerts. It tells us some statistics and facts about homeless animals in general and how they can be lost on the streets not even on purpose. Also, it tells us about 3 main issues and possible solutions for it: overpopulation, surrendered animals and lost animals and for each issue it has a possible solution. This article gives us ideas for our actions in the future and just tells us more about this issue. Read the whole article here.

Intro to my campaign :)

One of the biggest issues we have in my home community are homeless dogs. They are literally everywhere, you can see them outside of your house any time, any day. I care a lot about animals, especially the one that are homeless, because they were thrown away like a garbage, as if they are nothing to their owners. That's why this is so important to me. I think, that pets can be our best friends, if we treat them appropriate way.
This is an issue, because they can carry any illnesses you can imagine. They are becoming more and more angry, they can bite anyone who walks by. Little kids are scared, actually everyone is scared. A "positive outcome" is being able to walk the streets peacefully and not being afraid of going outside. To do this we need to donate more money to our shelter for homeless dogs and cats in the city and to promote it so we can attract more volunteers there. After doing this, we could inoculate these homeless animals so they won't be that "scary" to everyone anymore.
Because of social networks being so popular now, of course, we will also tweet/publish little descriptions about each pet so people could adopt them, so more people could see it.
Everyone, who can give even 1$ makes the lives of our best friends - pets, better. Our motto is "One by one until there are none".
